Jax Taylor, 41, and wife Brittany Cartwright, 31, expect their first child, the “Vanderpump Rules” stars announced via Instagram Monday night.
“Mom & Dad,” Cartwright captioned the pic. “The love of our lives is coming soon.” Taylor posted an equivalent pic, adding, “Sooooo … I’m gonna be Dad.”
The pair follow fellow “Rules” couple Stassi Schroeder and her fiancé Beau Clark in new-parent-dom. Schroeder was abandoning from the show in June over her treatment of cast member Faith Stowers and announced her pregnancy shortly thereafter; she and Clark expect a woman in early 2021.

The Taylor-Cartwrights, alongside Schroeder and Clark, reunited with other Bravo stars Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent (and her fiancé, Randall) on a houseboat in Nevada in August for a touch of R&R amid the pandemic.
“WE ALL TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID AND ARE QUARANTINED ALONE ON A HOUSEBOAT,” Clark, 40, wrote.
“Vanderpump” newbies Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens were also abandoning from “Vanderpump Rules” after racist tweets from both men resurfaced in January.

“We had been trying for around five months and that we just can’t wait to grow our family. I had the ovulation sticks and every one the apps… we were able to go!” says the mom-to-be, who is currently 11 weeks into her pregnancy. “I awakened super early to travel to the restroom and just had a sense I should take a test and it had been positive!! I cried I laughed, we were with great care happy!! Then I took three more tests and cried some more.”
The couple got married in June 2019, ahead of 240 friends and family at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky. “We cannot wait to start out a family,” Cartwright told PEOPLE after their nuptials. “I cannot wait to be a mom and Jax cannot wait to be a dad. He talks about it all the time. I feel he’s getting more excited than I’m even, which I never thought would be possible.”
And now, Taylor — who lost his own father, Ronald Cauchi, to cancer in December 2017 — says he can’t wait to be a hands-on dad even more.
