Before making her move to broadcasting, she was the Marketing Manager at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario for several years and also the first in-arena host for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

She was born Christine Laura Simpson on October 5, 1964, in London, Ontario. As of 2019, her age is 55. She is a London native and she holds the citizenship of Canada.

Talking about her parents, her mom, Marion, was a cheerleader for the Mustangs football team, and her father, Don played as a fullback and guard for the team in the mid-1950s. Her mother was a naturally gifted sprinter and was an Olympic athlete. She has two brothers, Dave and Craig Simpson, and an older sister, Jan. Both of her brothers were Hockey Players.

Journey Of life

Christine was the marketing manager at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. She worked there for a long time. Before finally making her way to broadcasting, she worked as a host in the first in-arena for the Toronto Maple Leafs, an ice-hockey team.

After the Canadian sports channel was started in the year 1998, she did her first network TV job. She worked with Rogers Sportsnet and spent a decade of her life as a hockey features reporter and also hosted ‘Showtime with Chris Simpson’ which used to telecast sports stories and entertainment.

Moreover, she has also been involved as a rink-side reporter for the N.H.L. broadcasts with ESPN, ABC, and Versus in the US.

Simpson also hosted the NHL Network in the US and Canada in a show that dealt with only the captain of the teams. In addition, she also became the host of ‘Center Ice with Chris Simpson’ during the Winter Olympics of 2010 at Molson Canadian Hockey House.

Similarly, she collaborated with regional sports channel MSG Plus on October 19th, 2010, and hosted the program ‘New Jersey Devils’. She once again joined Rogers Sportsnet as their hockey features reporter in Toronto.

Christine Simpson also has some acting credits to her name. She made her debut in the film ‘Saw 3D’ as Donna Evans. She also made an appearance as a guest in the superhit T.V show FRIENDS in 2002 as Martha Mathers.
