Razor Rob aka Robert Alexander McCullough IV (born May 26, 1977) is a former mixed martial artist and retired American Muay Thai kickboxer. McCullough was a professional MMA fighter from 2001 to 2011, competing for the WEC, Bellator, DREAM, the World Fighting Alliance, the Palace Fighting Championship, and King of the Cage.
Razor was born Robert Alexander McCullough IV on May 26, 1997, in Huntington Beach, California, USA. He has not shared anything about his parents and siblings.
He is of Irish and Mexican descent and holds American citizenship.
In 2001, McCullough made his mixed martial arts debut at the Palace Casino in Lemoore, California, with a first-round TKO win. “Razor Rob” went 10-1 between 2003 and 2007, with nine stoppage wins and just one split-decision defeat to Harris Sarmiento, which he later avenged.
Moreover, McCullough won the vacant WEC Lightweight Championship by defeating Muay Thai warrior Kit Cope at WEC 25. He successfully defended his title once, beating Richard Crunkilton in the first round by TKO. He lost his title to Jamie Varner on February 13, 2008, when Varner beat him by TKO in the third round due to strikes.
In addition, McCullough suffered in his next four fights in the now-defunct WEC after losing his title. He won a split decision over Kenneth Alexander before losing to Donald Cerrone. He won by majority decision over Marcus Hicks, but he broke his right hand and suffered a minor ankle damage, requiring surgery to repair his hand.
On July 9, 2010, at Tachi Palace Fight 5, McCullough beat Isaac de Jesus by first-round TKO. On September 9, 2010, at Tachi Palace Fight 6, he beat UFC veteran Corey Hill by unanimous decision.
