Sarah Keith-Lucas is a British weather reporter and meteorologist. Since 2009, Keith-Lucas has been overspreading climatic weather conditions on BBC One. Sarah had performed a range of reports before her career from preparing airport and supermarket forecasts.

Family Life

She was born in 1982 at Hastings, East Sussex. She was born to father Christopher Leslie Keith-Lucas and mother is Claire Forrester. Apart from that, Keith-Lucas’ middle name comes from her grandmother Dorothy de Bauduy Robertson, who was killed in a road accident in 1979.

In addition, during World War II, Sarah’s grandfather, David Keith-Lucas, was an aerodynamicist in Kent and the Royal Aeronautical Society’s president from 1968-69.

Qualification

She attended Cranbrook School, in the Kent co-educational grammar school. Later, she joined Robertsbridge Community College from which she took GCSEs. She deliberate Geography at Durham University.

Journey Of Life

Soon after graduation, she spent two years working in the French Alps and enjoying snow sports.

Then in January 2007, she joined Met Office. There, she first completed her forecaster training at the Met Office College and then went to the Met Office headquarters in Exeter, Devon, England, to work as a weather forecaster.
While working with the Met Office, she got a chance to excel in her weather forecasting skills.

She collected experience from various works like producing weather forecasts for supermarkets and airports and sampling the surfing on the beaches of Devon.

After working there for nine years and ten months, Sarah finally joined her current channel, BBC. Having joined the channel in October 2016 as a broadcast meteorologist, she has contributed a lot to the channel.

She reports forecasting weather for various platforms of BBC like BBC News, BBC World, BBC Breakfast, and BBC Radio 4.
