The television reporter was born in 1968 in Los Angeles, California, and is of American nationality and white ethnicity. He has a younger sister, and they were both raised by their mother, who divorced their father when they were little.


In his hometown, the young Berliner was enrolled in a local school, which he later attended. Tony studied reportage at the Poynter Institute in 2002, after which he went on to Occidental College to study political science since he was interested in reporting.

During his Master’s studies at the American University’s Graduate School of Communication, he completed an internship at the PBS News Hour before earning a BA in Political Science.

Tony Berlin began his professional career when he joined ABC’s Good Morning America. He captivated the hearts of millions of Americans from his first appearance on the show and became quite renowned in a short time. His time at ABC was followed by three years as a reporter for WHIO-TV before joining WCCO-TV in 1995.

He worked as a senior reporter for seven years at WCCO-TV Twin Cities before transferring to WCBS-TV Channel 2 in New York to serve as a local reporter. After more than a decade in the sector and a wealth of transferable journalism experience, he was promoted to Head of Media Relations, then Director of Media Relations, and finally President of the Media House.

When it comes to journalism in general, Tony Berlin knows his onions. He has worked on a variety of shows and stations over the course of his career, including PBS News Hour, ABC’s Today Show, Good Morning America, CNBC, FOX News Channel, and Fox Business Network.

Cindy and Carolina, the two adorable children of the two television stars, were born from their union.

Cindy, the family’s first daughter, was born in 2005 after two years of marriage, while Carolina, the family’s second daughter, was born in 2008 and is three years younger than Cindy. She was born five years after her parents wed.
